M&M Cafe was founded in 2002 when it opened in the new Glad Tidings church building in Section 13, Petaling Jaya. Marisa Chong was with the Central Bank (Bank Negara) for 15 years before venturing out to start the cafe with a friend.

M&M Cafe serves authentic Italian & Western cuisine as well as local delights to the office crowd on weekdays while on Sundays, the café caters to the congregation of Glad Tidings church.

Marisa have always had a passion for baking and her cakes were very well-received by her customers. The Chocolate Moist Cake was loved by the customers for its light and moist body covered with thick rich chocolate cream. Special attention was also given to the Durian Mousse Cake which left many hungering for more because it sells out the moment it leaves the kitchen! Other cakes like the Carrot Walnut cake, Durian Cheesecake and Blueberry Cheesecake met with similar responses as well. With customers placing orders in advance for the cakes all the time, it became obvious that these cakes were something special!

To cater to a wider market, M&M started selling cakes online. Response has been tremendous and online sales were slowly rivaling our counter sales! Customers who had purchased our cakes online were very impressed with the personal service given to them, from the quick delivery to the wonderful packaging. And of course, the cakes were delicious!
